Refund Policy

This policy explains how trials, subscriptions, cancellations, and refunds work. It works together with our Terms of Service.

Free trials

Paid plans typically begin with a 7-day free trial. Cancel anytime during the trial from Settings and you won't be charged. If you don't cancel before the trial ends, your plan begins and the applicable fee is charged.

Subscriptions & cancellation

Plans — Social ($19/month) and, when available, Collective ($49/month) — renew automatically until canceled. You can cancel anytime; your access and storefront remain available through the end of the current paid billing period. We do not generally prorate or refund partial periods.

Failed payments

If a renewal payment fails, our payment processor may retry it. Access to paid features may be paused or limited until payment succeeds, and the subscription may be canceled if the issue isn't resolved. You can update your payment method anytime in Settings.

Refunds

Because StoryToShop provides immediate, ongoing access to a digital service, fees are generally non-refundable except where required by law. We review requests on a case-by-case basis (for example, a clear billing error); there is no automatic refund promise. To request a review, email hello@storytoshop.ai.

Payment processing

Payments and subscriptions are handled by Stripe; we don't store full card details. Where a refund is issued, payment-processor fees may be non-recoverable.

Founder & comped memberships

Founder, free, or comped memberships are provided at our discretion, are not paid subscriptions, and are not eligible for refunds. We may change or end comped access with reasonable notice.

Referral commissions & refunds

If a subscription payment that generated a referral commission is later refunded, disputed, charged back, reversed, or identified as fraudulent, the related referral commission may be held, reduced, reversed, denied, or clawed back and may not be eligible for payout. Additional referral-program details may be made available to approved participants.

External & third-party purchases

StoryToShop does not process your customers' purchases on external platforms and does not take a percentage of those sales. If a visitor buys from Etsy, Shopify, TikTok Shop, Instagram, Pinterest, ShopMy, LTK, Amazon, a personal website, or another third-party destination, that purchase — and any refund, return, or dispute for it — is handled by that third-party platform or seller, not by StoryToShop.

No guarantees

StoryToShop does not guarantee any sales, traffic, earnings, conversions, rankings, followers, or third-party platform approval. Subscription fees pay for access to the StoryToShop service, not for any particular outcome.
