Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") are a binding agreement between you and StoryToShop.ai ("StoryToShop", "we", "us") governing your access to and use of our websites, storefronts, dashboard, and related services (the "Service"). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms, our Privacy Policy, Acceptable Use Policy, Refund Policy, and Integrations Policy, each incorporated by reference.

These pages are provided for transparency and are not legal advice. Have them reviewed by a qualified attorney for your jurisdiction before relying on them.

1. What StoryToShop is

StoryToShop is a member-directed storefront, link, content, and growth dashboard platform. Members choose which links, products, content, sales channels, affiliate links, music links, social links, and external destinations they add to their StoryToShop storefront. We provide the tools to organize and present those choices and to drive traffic to the destinations you select. We are not a marketplace for third-party goods and we do not process your customers' purchases of your external products.

2. Accounts & eligibility

You must provide accurate information, keep your login secure, and are responsible for activity under your account. You must be old enough to form a binding contract in your jurisdiction. You may connect or link only accounts, shops, content, links, and platforms that you own, manage, or are otherwise authorized to use.

3. Subscriptions & billing

Paid plans include Social ($19/month) and, when available, Collective ($49/month), each typically starting with a 7-day free trial. Billing is processed by Stripe; by subscribing you also agree to Stripe's terms. Plans renew automatically until canceled. You can cancel anytime from Settings; access continues through the end of the paid period and we do not generally prorate partial periods. We may offer founder, free, or comped accounts at our discretion and may upgrade, downgrade, change, or discontinue plans or pricing with reasonable notice. Failed or reversed payments may pause or end access. Refunds are governed by our Refund Policy. We do not guarantee any sales, earnings, traffic, conversions, rankings, followers, or platform approval.

4. Your content & your storefront

You retain ownership of the products, images, copy, links, and other content you add. You grant StoryToShop the limited license needed to host, display, and distribute your published storefront and to operate the Service. You are responsible for your storefront content, including product descriptions, links, images, pricing, offers, claims, and required disclosures, and for ensuring you hold the rights to everything you upload (including images, logos, and trademarks). Where you post affiliate or sponsored content, you are responsible for complying with the FTC's endorsement and disclosure rules and any similar laws. We do not verify every member link, product, price, or claim, and we may remove content or suspend accounts that violate these Terms, third-party rules, or the law.

5. No commission on your external links

Members pay for access to the StoryToShop storefront and dashboard service. StoryToShop does not take a percentage commission from ordinary member-added external links or third-party sales — including your Etsy shop, Shopify store, personal website, affiliate links, social profiles, content platforms, or other sales channels. We do not process those external sales. The only exceptions are where a separate written program, paid feature, referral program, affiliate relationship, marketplace feature, or commercial agreement expressly says otherwise.

6. Referral, founder & affiliate programs

StoryToShop may offer referral, founder, ambassador, or affiliate programs to eligible participants. Program details, payout eligibility, and commission terms may be provided separately to approved participants. Any such program is separate from, and must not be confused with, sales made through your own external links.

7. Third-party platforms & integrations

StoryToShop lets you connect, display, embed, link to, import, organize, or analyze information from third-party platforms that you choose. StoryToShop does not claim ownership of any third-party platform, content, trademark, logo, or service, and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, certified by, sponsored by, or partnered with any third-party platform — including Etsy — unless we expressly state so in writing. You must comply with the terms, developer/commerce policies, brand guidelines, API rules, and intellectual-property rules of any platform you connect or link. We may rely on authorized APIs, OAuth, approved data access, public links, and member-provided links, and we may change, pause, or remove an integration as required by platform rules, partner requirements, security, API limits, or business needs. 8. Third-party transactions

If a visitor clicks from a StoryToShop storefront to Etsy, Shopify, TikTok Shop, Instagram, Facebook, Pinterest, ShopMy, LTK, Amazon, a personal website, or any other third-party destination, the purchase or transaction happens on that third-party platform or site. StoryToShop does not control and is not responsible for third-party checkout, shipping, refunds, customer service, inventory, pricing, account access, or platform decisions.

9. Acceptable use

Your use of the Service is subject to our Acceptable Use Policy. Among other things, you may not use StoryToShop for unlawful, infringing, deceptive, or abusive activity, to circumvent third-party platform restrictions, or to scrape or access platforms or accounts without authorization. We may remove or disable links, integrations, content, or storefronts, and may suspend integration access if a platform requests it or if you misuse an integration.

10. AI features

AI features may generate suggestions, drafts, insights, prompts, summaries, or recommendations. Output is provided as-is, may be inaccurate or incomplete, and you are responsible for reviewing and approving anything you use. We do not guarantee sales, ranking, platform approval, legal compliance, or revenue from AI suggestions. See our Privacy Policy for how AI-assisted features handle data.

11. Marketing

We may use advertising, content, email, social media, PR, SEO, and other good-faith marketing to promote StoryToShop, its features, member storefronts, public examples, success stories, and community programs. We do not guarantee traffic, clicks, sales, earnings, conversions, ranking, followers, or platform approval, and we do not represent any third-party partner in a misleading way or imply endorsement by an API partner unless officially approved.

12. Intellectual property

The StoryToShop name, logo, and Service are owned by us. All third-party names, logos, and trademarks are the property of their respective owners and are used only to identify member-selected destinations; their use does not imply any affiliation or endorsement.

13. Disclaimers & limitation of liability

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, to the maximum extent permitted by law. To the maximum extent permitted by law, StoryToShop is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or exemplary damages, or for lost profits, traffic, sales, data, or goodwill, and our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us for the Service in the 12 months before the claim. You agree to indemnify StoryToShop against claims arising from your content, your links, your use of the Service, or your violation of these Terms or third-party rules.

14. Changes & termination

We may update these Terms; material changes will be reflected by the "last updated" date and, where appropriate, additional notice. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or the law.

15. Governing law & venue

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. Any legal action related to these Terms must be brought in the state or federal courts located in Travis County, Texas.
