Incorporated into the StoryToShop Seller Agreement under Section 46. These Billing Terms govern paid subscription plans; Section 30 of the Seller Agreement governs plans generally.
1. Overview
These Plan & Subscription Billing Terms ("Billing Terms") govern subscription tiers, billing cycles, trials, renewals, and cancellations for Sellers using paid software services offered by StoryToShop LLC ("StoryToShop").
2. Plans
Social Plan — $19.00 per month, or the promotional rate presented at signup.
Social Plan subscriptions may include a 7-day free trial on initial account activation. Where a trial applies, its length and end date are disclosed before you authorize the first charge.
StoryToShop may add, modify, or retire plans. A change to the plan a Seller is already on is a material change and receives advance notice under Section 9 of these Billing Terms.
3. Affirmative Consent and Automatic Renewal
3.1 Explicit opt-in. Subscription enrollment requires affirmative consent at checkout or subscription setup. StoryToShop does not enroll a Seller in a paid plan without that consent.
3.2 What you are agreeing to. Before you authorize the first charge, StoryToShop presents the plan price, the billing frequency, the date of the first charge, and the fact that the subscription renews automatically until cancelled.
3.3 Recurring billing. By subscribing, you authorize StoryToShop to charge your designated payment method on a recurring monthly or annual basis until you cancel.
3.4 Advance notice. StoryToShop sends email notice before a free trial converts to a paid subscription, and before any material price change takes effect.
4. Cancellation
You may cancel at any time, without penalty and without contacting support.
4.1 Self-service cancellation. Cancel directly in the Seller Dashboard under Settings → Subscription, using Cancel subscription. That control opens the Stripe billing portal, where the cancellation is completed. No email or support request is required.
4.2 Effective date. On cancellation, your subscription remains active through the end of the billing period you have already paid for. No further recurring charges are processed.
4.3 No cancellation fee. There is no fee, penalty, or minimum term.
4.4 Refunds. Fees already paid for a current billing period are non-refundable except where required by law or stated in promotional terms.
5. What Happens to Your Storefront
Cancelling or downgrading a paid plan does not delete your storefront, your listings, or your order history.
On the day your paid period ends, features that are part of the paid plan become unavailable and your published storefront reverts to the free tier's capabilities. Your account, content, and transaction records remain in place, and resubscribing restores paid features.
6. Failed Payment and Retry
If a subscription payment fails, StoryToShop.ai or Stripe may notify the Seller and may retry the payment using automated retry logic. StoryToShop LLC does not promise a fixed retry schedule. Paid features may remain available temporarily while payment is retried, but StoryToShop LLC may restrict paid features or storefront publishing after reasonable notice if payment remains unresolved. Suspension for non-payment is not a marketplace enforcement action and does not affect the Seller's standing under the Seller Agreement.
7. Plan Changes by the Seller
Upgrades take effect immediately, with the price difference prorated for the remainder of the current billing period.
Downgrades take effect at the start of the next billing period. You keep the higher tier's features through the end of the period you have paid for.
8. Taxes
Subscription prices are stated exclusive of applicable taxes. Where StoryToShop is required to collect tax on a subscription, that tax is added at checkout and shown before you authorize the charge.
9. Changes to Plans, Pricing, and These Terms
StoryToShop will provide reasonable advance notice by email before a material price increase or a material reduction in plan features takes effect for an existing Seller. A Seller who does not accept a material change may cancel before it takes effect and will not be charged the new amount.
Changes do not apply retroactively to a billing period already paid.
10. Relationship to Transaction Fees
Subscription fees are separate from the 4% platform transaction fee described in the Seller Fee Schedule. Cancelling a paid plan does not change transaction fees, and does not terminate the Seller Agreement or affect obligations arising from transactions already completed.
