Incorporated into the StoryToShop Seller Agreement under Section 46. This Fee Schedule governs fee detail; Section 29 of the Seller Agreement governs payment terms generally.
1. Overview
This Seller Fee Schedule ("Fee Schedule") sets out the platform fees, processing costs, and administrative assessments applicable to Sellers operating storefronts on StoryToShop LLC ("StoryToShop").
There are no listing fees. There is no fee to open a storefront.
2. Platform Transaction Fee
StoryToShop assesses a platform transaction fee on completed storefront purchases.
- Platform fee rate: four percent (4.0%)
- Calculation base: the merchandise subtotal — the item price less any Seller-applied discount.
- Exclusions: shipping charged to the buyer and sales tax collected are excluded from the calculation base.
3. Payment Processing and Settlement
Payment processing is provided through Stripe. StoryToShop is the settlement merchant for card transactions on the marketplace. A buyer's payment is captured by StoryToShop, and the net proceeds for the order are transferred to the Seller's connected Stripe Express account, less the StoryToShop platform fee and the payment processing costs attributable to that transaction.
Nothing in this settlement arrangement changes which party is responsible for the product itself. Under Section 3 of the Seller Agreement, the Seller remains responsible for the product, its description, its safety and legality, and its fulfillment.
- Standard U.S. processing costs: Stripe's published rate for the applicable transaction type, unless custom rates apply. Stripe publishes current pricing at stripe.com/pricing.
- Dispute and chargeback fees: fees assessed by Stripe or a card network for a payment dispute on a Seller's transaction are attributable to that Seller and are handled under Section 29 of the Seller Agreement.
StoryToShop does not set Stripe's rates and does not retain Stripe's processing fees.
4. Worked Example
An illustrative calculation for a standard retail sale:

Stripe processing fees are assessed separately on the total charged and are not shown in this example.
5. Refunds and the Platform Fee
Where an order is refunded in full, the StoryToShop platform fee on that order is refunded to the Seller. Where an order is partially refunded, the platform fee is reduced proportionally to the refunded merchandise amount.
Payment processing fees are set and retained by Stripe under Stripe's own terms and are not returned by StoryToShop.
6. Payout Settlement
Platform fees and payment processing costs are deducted at the time of payment settlement, before net funds are transferred to the Seller's Stripe Express account.
Payout timing from the connected account is determined by Stripe and the Seller's connected account settings. StoryToShop does not control payout timing where a payout is delayed by Stripe, a financial institution, a legal requirement, or a fraud or risk review.
7. Other Amounts
The following are not StoryToShop fees, but are amounts a Seller may owe under Section 29 of the Seller Agreement:
- Refunds and transaction adjustments determined under the Refunds & Buyer Protection Policy
- Chargebacks, disputes, and reversals on the Seller's transactions
- Subscription charges under the Plan & Subscription Billing Terms
- Fines or penalties assessed against StoryToShop as a direct result of the Seller's unlawful or prohibited conduct
8. Subscription Fees
Paid plan pricing is set out in the Plan & Subscription Billing Terms and is separate from the transaction fees in this Fee Schedule.
9. Changes to This Fee Schedule
StoryToShop will provide conspicuous advance notice before a material increase to the platform fee takes effect, consistent with Section 41 of the Seller Agreement. A fee change does not apply retroactively to orders already placed.
